Cookies Galore! makes and supplies a range of handmade gourmet Butter Shortbreads, Cream Shortbreads (otherwise known as “melting moments” or “yo-yo’s”), Anzacs and Savoury Cheese Cookies, using specially selected all-natural ingredients, handbaked to perfection in our Busselton kitchen. Our range of biscuits is based on the classic old-style Australian country biscuits that our grandparents used to make in the days when life was less hectic, and when the only ingredients available were natural and locally produced. In fact most of our recipes have been inspired by old cookbooks such as the “Golden Wattle” and “CWA” cookbooks, or favourite recipes passed down from one generation to the next. In keeping with our philosophy to re-create the tastes and textures of country biscuits we ensure that only the freshest, purest, natural ingredients are used, and our gourmet range is free of artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. This means that we use butter as the only shortening, locally grown and ground wheat flour and full milk cheddar cheese. Our ingredients are sourced from local suppliers wherever possible (our butter and cheese come direct from the local dairy!), and if not from local suppliers we use Australian origin raw materials whenever these are available. For people with Gluten intolerance Cookies Galore! makes a range of shortbreads and cheese cookies with Rice Flour. We manufacture in small batches, using only the purest and freshest ingredients. Sometimes this hand-made approach results in slight variation in shape and colour with some products – a fact which emphasizes the “hand – made” appeal of our products.
